Detention proof you can send
Dock mode records when the truck arrived and how long it waited. The driver’s “Leaving now” tap records the departure. LapisTrack builds a detention report and a proof page from it.
How it works
- The driver arrives. At pickup and delivery the driver can leave the LapisTrack page open on the charger. It records arrival and waiting time.
- The driver taps “Leaving now”. Still parked, the driver taps the button. That records the departure.
- You get the report. The detention report (a spreadsheet file from the load) shows arrival, departure and minutes on site for pickup and delivery. The driver’s page also has a proof link the driver can send to their own dispatcher.
Only when you’re parked. Never while driving.
What if the driver forgets to tap?
Then the report says “last seen on site at” a time, and never guesses a later departure. We would rather show a gap than a made-up number.
Honest limits
- It is a record, not a bill. Whether the shipper pays detention is between you and the shipper.
- We cannot promise a result in any dispute.
- The driver’s proof link stops working 30 days after the load ends.
- Dock mode works while the page is open. It works on iPhone with iOS 16.4 or newer, and in Chrome on Android. Plug the phone in, and keep it out of direct sun.
- Proof-of-delivery photos are separate. Drivers can upload them, and location data is stripped from the photos.
Detention proof is included in the base price. See pricing.
Try it on your own loads for 30 days. Free.
Email us your company name, MC number and how many loads you move a month. No setup fee. No contract. You pay for a load only if a location arrived for it.
